Responsibilities

I assisted the creative design team with research, line sheets, tech packs and CAD development and coloring. I attended fit, vendor, concept development and hindsight meetings. Lastly, I helped to organize the vintage collection and fabric headers.

Accomplishments

My greatest accomplishment was producing my Re / Touched zine. It was a 40+ page publication going over corporate history, sustainability values, two product life cycles and the people at Re/Done. Interviews and research with various people and resources took place to aid the development. On the last day, I presented the project to the design team and it was further shown to Sean Barron, a co-founder of Re / Done. I have additionally sharpened my Adobe Illustrator and professional communication skills.

What advice would you give?

When approaching an internship, do not be afraid to get to know people better. Be kind and interact with as many as people as possible. Great satisfaction and learning comes from these interactions which ultimately make you a more empathetic individual.
