Honors deadlines often depend on when the student was accepted into the College of Human Sciences program (spring or fall) and when the student plans to present the project at the poster presentation (spring or fall of senior year).
- For early registration, the student must have applied and be accepted into the CHS Honors Program by either September 21 or February 21 for the respective registration.
- The electronic program of study must be developed and the form submitted by September 21 or February 21 to show intent to complete the program and continue to receive the benefits of the honors program.
- The Honors Project Intent form must be submitted one year prior to completion of the honors project. It must be submitted by September 21 of the junior year when presenting the project in the fall of the senior year and must be submitted by February 21 of the junior year when presenting in the spring of the senior year.
- The proposal for the honors project must be submitted no later than the semester before the poster presentation (February 21 when presenting the project in the fall and September 21 when presenting in the spring.
The following are example honors program timelines based on when the student was accepted into the University Honors Program.
