International Student Teaching Open House

Whether you are ready to student teach next semester or thinking ahead for future years, this open house will provide you with an opportunity to learn from the faculty and staff who operate the program about benefits of participation, available sites for next semester, and the application procedure. The International Student Teaching Open House is held the second Wednesday of each semester at the same time and place.

ISU Study Abroad Fair

10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. in the Great Hall at the Memorial Union

All College of Human Sciences students are invited to attend the university’s free study abroad fair to explore study abroad options. The College of Human Sciences International Programs Office will have a table where students can learn about options specifically for their major, find scholarships to help fund their adventures, and hear about experiences abroad from previous participants.

HSW Lunch and Learn: Study Abroad 101

Are you interested in studying abroad but don’t know where to start? This session will guide you through the benefits of studying abroad, types of programs available, who you should talk to about studying abroad, the application process, scholarships, and financial aid. You will also learn about study abroad opportunities sponsored or co-sponsored by the CHS International Programs Office.

CHS Study Abroad Fair

All College of Human Sciences students are invited to attend the college’s free study abroad fair during Human Sciences Week. You can explore short-term faculty-led programs, semester-long programs, and International Student Teaching locations specifically for CHS majors. You’ll have the opportunity to discuss opportunities with the faculty members leading the programs, to learn about the experiences of previous study abroad participants, and to register to win a $300 scholarship that would apply toward your study abroad experience during the 2017-2018 academic year.
