This program is designed for individual prospective students and their family members who are interested in exploring majors and career opportunities in Culinary Food Science, Diet and Exercise, Dietetics, Food Science, and Nutritional Science (including pre-health preparation and wellness options). The visit day includes interaction with food and nutrition professionals, faculty members, and current students. Educators are advised to encourage interested students to attend with their parents.
Cost: There is no registration fee, and the event includes lunch and snacks.
Parking: Parking is available for a small fee at the Memorial Union ramp on Lincoln Way.

- Dietetics, Diet & Exercise, Nutritional Science (Great Hall): Gain more insight into the curriculum, internships, and career opportunities in the Dietetics, Diet and Exercise, and Nutritional Science majors.
11:50 am - 12:50 pm Lunch with FSHN faculty and students (Joan Bice Underwood Tearoom, MacKay Hall) Enjoy a meal prepared and served entirely by students in the Quantity Food Production course at ISU and ask questions of our FSHN Faculty and students.

- Nutrition Workshop: Learn what it's like to be a student in Food Science and Human Nutrition by participating in a workshop on finding your passion in health sciences.
- Food Science Workshop: Learn what it's like to be a student in Food Science and Human Nutrition by learning about the different areas in food and culinary science, such as sensory evaluation and food chemistry.
2:00 - 2:30 pm Financial Assistance/Scholarships Presentation Learn about scholarships and financial assistance available from the university, colleges, and the department.
2:40 - 3:15 pm Resource Roundtable A great time to ask questions and learn more in a small group environment.
3:15 pm Still have questions? FSHN advisers and representatives from ISU Admissions and Financial Aid will be available to answer any questions. FSHN Ambassadors and Campus tour guides will be available to provide tours and answer questions.
