I was responsible for...
-Take blood pressures -Check people in and out of cardiac rehab -Clean equipment -Education Classes -Using the pulse ox. -Any side job asked by the other empoloyees

I accomplished...
Building relationships with both the staff and the patients. This was the most fulfilling part of this whole experience and the part that I enjoyed the most. I also got to sit in on a full heart echo along with beginning pulmonary tests.

My most valuable effort...
Being able to work on the bulletin board was the biggest project I had. I was given the task of putting together the bulletin board and I used the feedback of the patients to choose my topic.

I learned...
The most valuable learning experience for me was all of the education classes that I got to sit in on. The education was helpful because I was able to see how the patients were taught the material.

I will never forget...
The most memorable experience I had was getting to watch a full echo. It was interesting to actually get to see what the heart looked like through an ultrasound.

A surprising discovery...
The difference between the phase 2 cardiac patients and the beginners pulmonary patients. The pulmonary patients usually were less willing to be there so when we did finally get them there they usually were hesitant.

Advice for others...
Pay close attention in Kin 458 and Kin 462. Both of those classes are very important for cardiac rehab, and you will use a lot of this information in cardiac rehab.

I landed this assignment by...
I sent an application and emailed with the supervisors.

I wanted this experience because...
