I was responsible for...
Assisted with program design and implementation with over 100+ student athletes on a daily basis. Taught proper technique to 100+ athletes in lifting, running, stretching, speed exercises and drills. Maintained a brand new state of the art facility and assisted the strength and conditioning staff with daily weight room upkeep.

I accomplished...
Worked with University of Oklahoma's 2017 national championship softball team.

I learned...
If you truly want to make it as a strength and conditioning at the division one level you have to understand the standards that are kept within the profession. Be open to learning new methods of training and be vulnerable.

Advice for others...
Be willing to sacrifice your mornings to internship. If you can't network and meet new people your ability to further yourself will become more difficult. If you are serious about being a strength coach read, attend conferences, and don't be afraid to work hard every day of your college career outside of your education(internships).
