Assist with the daily set up and breakdown for training sessions. Sweep down platforms and floor, wipe down upholstery and weight racks and bar holders. Wipe down windows and mirrors. Stock produce, protein drinks, milk, juice, and yogurt. Shadow and asset strength coaches on the floor during training. Spot, cue, and help athletes during their training. Attend professional development meetings.
Leading agility/speed drills for the football team and leading volleyball through workouts and warm-ups and cool downs.
In the face of adversity or last minute changes, use resources that you have around you whether that is advice from your other co-workers or the internet. Embrace and accept what is being thrown at you and use it as a learning experience.
Advice for others...
Always go into a job or internship with an open mind and try to make as many connections as you can while you're there.
