I was responsible for...
Responsible for answering all guest inquiries, complaints and requests. The guest services department is the central communication hub for the efficient operation of the property. Conduct examination of property units in accordance with approved housekeeping check-lists to ensure the property units meet Wyndham Vacation Rental's standards for cleanliness.
My greatest accomplishment from my internship this summer would have to be being trusted to be run the front desk and office by myself. My manager was gone for the day and the other front desk lady had PTO, I opened, ran, and closed the office by myself!
The greatest lessons I learned from my internship was first off customer service. Guests always are the top priority in any situation and their wants and needs always come first. Another lesson learned was how to be a great team player. It teamwork doesn't exist you will never be able to reach your full potential.
Advice for others...
Always take the opportunity when it comes your way. Once you pass something up you might not be given the same opportunity again.
