I was responsible for...
My responsibilities include working with boosters and premium ticket holders during the football season. I have the opportunity to work in the premium spaces of the stadium during games as well. My other duties include walking through all suite pods the week prior to a game, and completing a pre-game checklist in the premium areas of the stadium. Furthermore, I will be responsible for gymnastics this upcoming spring.

I accomplished...
My biggest accomplishment so far is my improvement with team work. Game days are all about communication and working together to accomplish the same goal. The first two home football games have gone very well, and I'm excited to see what I will accomplish with the last five this season.

My most valuable effort...
The most valuable project I've worked on so far is preparation for home football games. There are so many pieces to the puzzle that is game day preparation, so being able to be part of the team that helps make game day great for all cyclones is very rewarding.

I learned...
The entire internship has been most valuable. There are little things you learn along the way that you have to use each day, so really listening and applying what I learn each day will help me grow throughout the internship experience.

I will never forget...
Meeting so many people, from boosters to premium level donors, and even other interns. There is such a great opportunity to network, and everyone so far has been very helpful!

A surprising discovery...
I didn't expect to be less busy during game day events. I was actually very surprised to find myself very bored during the last game. After talking to my supervisor about it, I realized that most of the preparation and work is completed prior to the event itself. She shared that the event is a chance to have a little fun and relax a little. I'm thinking this is going to change my attitude approaching my profession because knowing the event won't be as hectic as the preparation process is pretty encouraging.

Advice for others...
Take advantage of the opportunities you have. If you get the chance to work an event, even if it's not the most fun, thats still one more experience you can talk to future employers about. The more experience you get, the more doors you open. My advice is to start now, and enjoy the opportunity!
