I was responsible for...
I was responsible for setting up and tearing down equipment for training sessions, as well as maintaining the cleanliness of the weight room. Myself and the other interns helped athletes load and unload bars and critique form when necessary. We also helped to modify exercise selection for certain athletes, as well as lead warm ups and the occasional group training session.

I accomplished...
My greatest accomplishment was the overall confidence and leadership skills I gained over the course of the semester.

I learned...
I found that always keeping an open mind was crucial for learning as much as I could, since there are many different ways to program workouts and coach athletes.

Advice for others...
For anyone interested in strength & conditioning, my advice is to learn as much as you can on your own, as you are always a student in this field. Also be prepared for early mornings and long hours.
