I was responsible for...
I fulfilled online orders that came in daily, organized the inventory, designed garments on Illustrator, and flyered around the city to get the word out about Zuma Blu.
My greatest accomplishment from my experience at Zuma Blu was designing their prints for garments and putting together their catalogue, that they used for the Active Collective trade show this past summer.
My greatest lesson learned from this internship was gaining the confidence that I am ready for this industry and can compete at a high level. This internship also helped me gain knowledge in owning a small business and what it takes to keep it up and running.
Advice for others...
My advice for future students would be to take the internship seriously whether that be in a corporate office, or working in their home like I did. Everyday you learn something new about the company and yourself that you wouldn't be able to gain without this experience.
