I was responsible for...
I was required to teach Physical Education for at least two weeks full time to students from kindergarten through fourth grade. I was responsible for creating comprehensive lesson plans that helped students meet specific learning objectives that were developmentally appropriate for each grade level. I was also responsible for assessing students based on these learning goals.

I accomplished...
My greatest accomplishment during my experience was watching students grown in their striking and basketball dribbling skills. Those were the two units that I taught during my experience, and I was able to see through my assessment of the objectives that students learned the skills that I was teaching them. It was awesome for me to be able to see the product of the work that I put in for the students by watching them be successful during my lessons.

I learned...
One of the greatest lessons that I learned during my experience was how to manage classroom behavior. My cooperating teacher is excellent with classroom management and he provided me with many tools and tips that have helped me to grow in my classroom management. I feel a lot more confident in my ability to manage time and behavior efficiently while teaching.

Advice for others...
Take advantage of all of the other professionals that are working in the same building. Most professionals are very willing to share their experiences with you and help you to grow as a professional.
