Nolan Cabrera will discuss white privilege in Hilton Chair lecture, January 30:
An expert on racial dynamics on college campuses, whiteness, and ethnic studies will talk at 7 p.m., Jan. 30 in the Sun Room, Memorial Union. Nolan Cabrera, an associate professor in the Center for the Study of Higher Education at the University of Arizona, will present :White Immunity: Working Through the Pedagogical Pitfalls of Privilege." The presentation is part of the Hilton Chair lecture series in the College of Human Sciences.

Spring 2020 Diversity, Equity, and Community brown bag series kicks off with discussion on mentoring women of color in graduate school: Tera Jordan, Leslie Winters, and Maria Alcivar will discuss challenges and opportunities from noon-1:30 p.m., Friday, Jan. 24 in 1009 LeBaron, as part of the College of Human Sciences Diversity, Equity, and Community brown bag series for Spring 2020.
