October 19, 2009 Are you or someone you know a Student Sensation? The College of Human Sciences and CHS Student Council are looking for outstanding undergraduate students -- freshmen through seniors in every Human Sciences major -- who are making an impact within the College of Human Sciences, Iowa State University, and the greater Ames community. Students across all majors and classifications who are making significant contributions both inside and outside of the classroom are eligible for this award. At least 12 undergraduate students in CHS will be recognized. For consideration, nominations must be submitted by November 4 , so start early. It takes only five minutes to nominate yourself or someone else online. Nomination Procedure: The application packet must include the online nomination form including the 200 word short essay of why the person nominated deserves this award. Nominees will then be contacted a CHS Student Council representative or advisor with final instructions to complete their nomination. Nominees will be asked to provide a resume and personal statement of accomplishments by Wednesday, November 11 by 5pm. Award: Honorees will be recognized by the Dean of the College of Human Sciences and featured on a poster that will be displayed throughout the College of Human Sciences. Selection Criteria:
