March 20, 2007 Are you or someone you know a Student Sensation? The College of Human Sciences is looking for outstanding undergraduate students -- freshmen through seniors in every Human Sciences major -- plus secondary education students -- who have made an impact inside or outside of the classroom through excellence in scholarship, leadership, professional practice, community service, university service, activism, overcoming obstacles, or problem-solving. For consideration, nominations and supporting materials must be submitted by April 1, so start early. It takes only five minutes to nominate yourself or someone else online. To do so, go to the Student Sensations web site > Nomination form. (The form has been disconnected since the nomination deadline has passed.) Details on eligibility, selection criteria, nomination and selection procedures, and online submission forms are on the web. (This link has been disconnected while revisions to these guidelines are being considered.) Questions? Email hs-sensations@iastate.edu or contact Michele Lee, director, Human Sciences Student Services, phone 515 294-0866, or Cathy Curtis, communications and web editor, College of Human Sciences, phone 515 294-8175.
