Behind the Scenes Day (Apparel, Merchandising, and Design)

Behind the Scenes Day is designed for prospective students and their family members who are interested at taking an in-depth look at the Apparel, Merchandising, and Design major in the College of Human Sciences at Iowa State University and the career opportunities the degree offers. You will have the opportunity to learn about textile and apparel design, merchandising, production and historic collections during mini-presentations throughout the day. Additionally, you will be able to meet with admission counselors, faculty, and attend a dress rehearsal of the Iowa State University Fashion Show and Design Competition. Parents are strongly encouraged to attend this event with their students.

Registration for this event opens February 1st. (Session may fill quickly.) If you have questions about registering or being placed on a waiting list, contact email@example.com.
Parental Permission: Once you have successfully submitted the online registration, you need to submit a Behind the Scenes - Parental Permission Agreement form.
**Chaperones: Groups larger than 8 students will require 2 chaperones.
Cost: There is a charge of $10.00 to attend the Behind the Scenes Day and dress rehearsal, which must be paid at the time of check-in.
