WebCT login page

  • Use your ISU netID login and password (the same login and password you use for ISU email).
  • If you do not have a netID, contact your instructor and arrange for an exception ID OR use your student ID number and register for a netID at the "Account Service on the Web" (ASW) page.
  • Your instructor must add you to the WebCT course in order for you to access it.
The WebCT GOLD system will be shutdown Friday, May 16, 2008, at 7:00 a.m. through 12:00 (noon) CDT, for software updates and maintenance to the Oracle database. These updates are critical for the continued growth and use of the WebCT GOLD system.

  • WebCT Course Accounts: Remember that a new WebCT account must be used for each semester a course is taught. Instructors can roll over the contents from one account to the next or build a course from scratch. The account order form is available from https://webct0.its.iastate.edu:8443/webhtmls/requestgold4.html. For assistance, contact Karla Embleton at embleton@iastate.edu or 294-9198


    Spring 2008 Final Grade Submission:     Instructors who wish to submit Final Grades from their WebCT GOLD course(s) may do so between 11pm Wednesday April 30, and 2:15 pm. Wednesday May 14, 2008. Instructions are at: http://www.celt.iastate.edu/webct/submit_grades.html


    Library Course Reserve: Instructors who wish to place required materials on reserve should submit requests now. Go to Library homepage, http://www.lib.iastate.edu and under "Classes & Tours," click "Reserve." Then click "Instructor forms & information." Select desired form.

    End of Semester wrap-up:

    1. Backup course (Build/Teach tab -> Manage Course -> Backup)
    2. Remove students from class account. (Teach tab -> Gradebook -> Select all students -> Unenroll)
    3. Order account for next semester of instruction (https://webct0.its.iastate.edu:8443/webhtmls/requestgold4.html)
