	New Students New students may register by email, or by mail/in person to: Office of the Registrar 0460 Beardshear Hall Iowa State University Ames, IA 50011-2049 Current/Returning Students Current or returning students may register by email, online through AccessPlus, or by phone to (515) 294-1889 (Monday through Friday, 8:00AM-4:00PM CST). Registration for Great Plains Interactive Distance Education Alliance (GP-IDEA) Courses Students who have been accepted as a degree-seeking student in the MFCS Family Financial Planning or Gerontology programs will receive priority registration for program courses offered through GP-IDEA. Program students must contact Karen Smidt (ksmidt@iastate.edu) to register. Registration for non-program students will be based on availability. For Spring 2009 GP-IDEA courses, please contact Karen Smidt (ksmdit@iastate.edu) the week of December 8, 2008.
