Office of Distance Education & Educational Technology - Mission

Our mission is to provide logistical support for distance education courses and programs to departments, instructors, and students. We provide support and services related to the use of educational technologies within the college for instructional, research, and administrative uses.

Support & Services

Administrative services include assistance with course offerings and initiation, classroom reservations and logistics, class financial accounts, and maintenance of distance education web pages. Student services also include answering inquiries, processing registrations, course information, and in depth support for online Masters programs.

Instructional services include maintenance of a class websites collection, WebCT support, coding of online surveys, Adobe Connect support, technical assistance with streaming audio and video, and more.

Technical services include design and management of enhanced classrooms and conference rooms, and instructor support and training for online and distance hardware and software.
