After visiting Iowa State University and falling in love with the beautiful campus and friendly staff, Anthony Cox, a Muscatine, Iowa native, knew he was destined to be a Cyclone.
Now, the senior in kinesiology and health is looking forward to graduating and pursuing his dream career in the Army’s medical branch.
What are you enjoying most about your current courses?
I really enjoy my professors. They are all very knowledgeable and friendly, and they really care about what they do. You can tell they love teaching students.
What clubs and organizations are you involved in?
I have been a part of the Army ROTC program for two years. I am also an employee with Iowa State Recreation Services, and I’ve been working in facility operations for over four years.
What piece of advice would you offer to incoming students?
I would advise students to get out and explore. Iowa State has so much to offer! The more people you meet and the more departments and buildings you visit, the more experiences you’ll be able to have. With these experiences, you’ll be able expand your ability to grow and develop yourself.
Where is your favorite spot on campus?
I love ISU’s central campus. It is a beautiful centerpiece to the college. It’s both a place to go to relax and throw a football around and a place to get involved with the events that are always held there.
