ISU study finds how physical inactivity, screen time contribute to overweight kids
Few comply with American Academy of Pediatrics recommendations for limiting children’s media screen time and increasing their physical activity -- and those who don’t meet one of these guidelines are up to four times more likely to be overweight, according to a study led by Kelly Laurson, a Ph.D. student in kinesiology.
