ISU educational leadership chair addresses today's underserved students

College and university professors need to rethink their expectations for students who don't fit narrow molds and change their definition of an "educated person," said Laura Rendón, professor and chair of educational leadership and policy studies.

First-generation, low-income students are not the only ones who are "underserved," said Rendón, who identified three additional groups that need better access to higher education. See more in an Iowa State news release.
