Agreement reached to establish Community College Policy Center
Iowa State University is a key player in the newly established Community College Policy Center (CCPC). Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty, chair of the Education Commission of the State's, announced the formation of the new center today, at a national education policy forum in Nashville, Tenn.
Designed as a resource for policymakers and community college leaders, the center results from an agreement among the Education Commission of the States, the Academy for Educational Development, and Iowa State University.
Iowa State will provide the center with research, through both theResearch Institute for Studies in Education and the ISU Office of Community College Research and Policy.
