CFCS Exchange server will be decommisioned this week

During the week of June 23, Iowa State University's Information Technology Services (ITS) is working with the College of Human Sciences Information Technology Services (CHS ITS)  to take final steps to fully decommission the former CFCS Exchange Server (Ares). This action, which culminates several months of testing and planning, completes the move of Outlook/Entourage e-mail and calendaring to ITS servers.

 

The decommissioning process will be executed by the Exchange system e-mail administrators in ITS. The changes should go unnoticed by all Outlook/Entourage users. No delays in email or calendaring services are expected. In the unlikely event there is an interruption in service, contact the Solution Center by phone at 515 294-4000. Measures have been taken by ITS, CHS ITS, and the Solution Center to quickly and efficiently resolve any issue you may encounter.
