Faculty receive promotions, tenure

The Board of Regents, State of Iowa, approved tenure and/or promotions for 60 Iowa State University faculty members on May 1. Of those, nine members of the College of Human Sciences faculty were approved for promotions and/or tenure effective with the beginning of the 2008-2009 academic year. Three were promoted to the rank of professor and four to the rank of associate professor with tenure. Two other associate professors were tenured.
