Researcher searches for recipe for long life

Martin studies people who live 100 years or more

"There's probably truth to the saying that you shouldn't worry yourself to death," said Peter Martin, a professor of gerontology in human development and family studies, who researches people that live 100 years or more. Centenarians have robust and resilient personalities, said Martin, who was featured in an Ames Tribune story that ran on Saturday, Oct. 24.
