Associate Deans announced

New associate deans for the College of Human Sciences have been named. The appointments are for one year.

Roger Smith, Associate Dean for Undergraduate Programs and Student Services

Dan Russell, Associate Dean for Research and Graduate Education

 

Both will be housed in the dean's office suite in Lagomarcino Hall.

JaneAnn Stout's appointment as Associate Dean and Director of Extension to Families will continue as is. Her office will remain in MacKay Hall.

Ribbon Tying

Join us for a Ribbon Tying on July 1 at 10:00 a.m. to commemorate the founding of the College of Human Sciences. The program will be on Osborn Drive in the crosswalk between Lagomarcino Hall and Palmer HDFS Building. Refreshments will be served after the ceremony. Please note: Morrill Drive between Kildee and Lagomarcino will be closed from 8:00 a.m. to noon that day.

Promotion and Tenure

Combined faculty met for a preliminary discussion about promotion and tenure policies for the new college on April 19 at the Memorial Union. It was a good beginning discussion that will continue in the fall.
