Announcing new CHS P&S and Merit Staff members

As we progress toward becoming the College of Human Sciences, a key component involves the transition of staff in current positions to new job duties serving the new college. P&S and merit positions in the dean's offices, including alumni services and communications staff, and the student services offices are affected with several exceptions:

  • Development officers are not affected since they are employees of the ISU Foundation.
  • The merit position held by Barbara Negri that is funded by Extension is not affected.
  • The continuous adjunct appointment supporting student recruitment and retention efforts held by Darlene Fratzke is not affected because of the original terms of that appointment.
  • The records analyst II position that supports teacher licensure for all students in all colleges that is held by Linda Aspengren is not affected.
  • The administrative specialist II position held by Betty Rasmussen is being converted to a term position ending June 30, 2006 to provide continuity and support to college and alumni relations staff.
  • The computer support and educational technology staff positions held by Amit Chaudhary, Karla Embleton, Christopher Haywood and Leslie Pease were not included in the combination given the pending restructuring of the institutional information technology units.
