Dean search
Search Committee Chair Michael Whiteford, dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, reports that the search is officially underway. "Print and web ads have appeared in appropriate outlets and we are getting name of nominees and applicants. We are asking for complete applications by the end of the month," said Whiteford. New college web site
We have a transition web site at www.humansciences.iastate.edu where you can keep track of the progress and status of the college combination.
One of the items posted on the new web site is a list of implementation committees. Read on to learn about student participation in these groups.

A celebration of our two colleges as they currently exist is being planned for Thursday, April 14. Rumor has it that organizers of this "last hurrah" are hoping to host a street dance between Lagomarcino and Kildee Halls
