Each group will review issues generated by the combination and how those issues affect their respective areas. Each sub-committee will clarify actions the university needs to take to make the combination work on July 1, and to see that appropriate persons or offices take these actions. The groups should also identify on-going issues that will need to be addressed after July 1. Each group should familiarize itself with the Planning Committee Proposal for the combination, as approved, and should use this document to guide decision-making. The Workgroup Reports should also be consulted, although not all recommendations there have been accepted. All of these are available on the Planning Committee web site. As implementation activities take place, there may need to be adjustments to the membership, charge, and activities of the committees. Each should be flexible about meeting these changing demands. |
