How can we help?

The College of Human Sciences Career Services Office provides career development support to students, alumni, and academic programs of the College of Human Sciences. The emphasis is on the individual’s personal quest for career success, utilizing internships as a vehicle for career development and providing career-related educational programming.

Services available to students and alumni include assistance with:

• Job search materials such as resumes and cover letters.
• Job and internship search strategies.
• Interviewing skills.

Career Services also coordinates employment opportunities available to human science students, graduates, and alumni through Iowa State University’s CyHire System (formerly called ISU CMS). CyHire is a centralized job posting service that provides all qualified ISU students and alumni equal access to employment opportunities.

Location: The Human Sciences Career Services office is located in room 131 MacKay Hall.

Hours: Our office is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. during fall and spring semesters and from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. during the summer.
