	Welcome to Iowa State University and the College of Human Sciences. Our college aims to make a difference—in Iowa and beyond. Our programs improve the quality of life for individuals, families, consumers, and communities. We prepare students for life-long learning and leadership in research, education, business and industry, and health and human services. Programs focus on the development and use of science and technology to improve society and influence practice in education, business, and daily living. Each program‘s curriculum is developed in collaboration with educational and business partners to prepare effective professionals. All undergraduate students have opportunities for gaining work experiences in their chosen field. Many of our undergraduate students continue their education in professional and graduate programs. Our graduate programs seek students who want to contribute through research, scholarship and practice to the betterment of society.
